| Continuing Christian Education (CCE) for children works in partnership with families to enable each child’s faith to become living, conscious and active through the light of instruction. The catechesis reflects the Gospel values and Church teachings to encourage discipleship and enables the spiritual growth and giftedness of all children. CCE is an on-going process of education, formation and transformation for children in PreK-4 thru 12th grade. CCE is sensitive to the multiple expressions of the family and in partnership with families offers all children the opportunity for growth in their faith, prayer, virtues and Christian charity. Registration is required EACH year. Open registration is held on three Sundays in August. Late registration is held on Tuesdays (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) throughout the school year. See Parish Bulletin for details. PreK-4 thru 4th grade – meets on Sunday mornings OR Wednesday evenings in English. It is also available on Saturday mornings in Spanish. Grade 5 & 6 – meets on Tuesday evenings. Grades 7 thru 10 – meets on Thursday evenings. Grades 11+ – meets on Tuesday evenings. Vacation Bible School – is held on the third week of June each year for children PreK-4 thru 5th grade from 9 a.m. to noon. VBS is open to all children, see Bulletin for details. Adults and teen volunteers are needed in English and Spanish to work as Catechists and Assistants in the class room. The time commitment is one school year. Training is provided. CCE is NOT Sacramental Prep. All Sacraments are prepared for outside of the regular CCE classes. Children MUST be enrolled in CCE or attend a Catholic school to prepare for the Sacraments. Educación Cristiana Continua (CCE) de los Niños Directora de la Educación Religiosa Ayudante de CCE La educación cristiana continua de los niños (CCE) trabaja en sociedad con las familias para permitir a la fe de cada niño llegar a ser que vive, consciente y activa a través de la luz de la instrucción. El catecismo refleja los valores del evangelio y las enseñanzas de la iglesia y fomenta el discipulado para el crecimiento espiritual y de los dones de todas las personas. CCE es un proceso continuo de evangelización, educación, formación y conversión que dura toda la vida para los niños en PreK-4 a través de 12° grado. CCE es sensible a las expresiones múltiples de la familia y en sociedad con las familias ofrece a todos los niños la oportunidad para el crecimiento en su fe, rezo, virtudes y caridad cristiana. El registro se requiere cada año. El registro abierto se celebra los tres domingos en agosto. El último registro se celebra el jueves (10 a.m. hasta 6 p.m.) através del año escolar.
