St. Frances Cabrini Youth Ministry is a comprehensive approach to parish youth ministry for 7th to 12th grade youth. This approach creates a framework for our community to respond to the personal and spiritual needs of our young people, while encouraging them to share their unique gifts with the larger St. Frances Cabrini faith community.

St. Frances Cabrini Youth Ministry integrates seven key components:
  1. COMMUNITY - Bazaar, Cabrini Feast Day, Gabriel Project, Gardening and Youth-Catechists. The Youth's main goal is to minister to the entire community of St. Frances Cabrini. It is important for the Youth of a parish to feel loved and accepted by their parish, because it builds security, acceptance, and confidence in their relationship with their Church and in God. In return, Youth give back to their family (the Church) and enjoy helping those in need from heavy duty jobs at Bazaars, to teaching younger children, to lending a helping hand wherever it's needed.
  2. FRIENDSHIP -Youth Conferences, Retreats, Lock-Ins, Halloween Carnival, Christmas Dance, and Valentine's Dance, Seasonal Plays, Ice Skating, and more. We provide opportunities for our Youth to gather as a Catholic community, safe and welcomed by the Holy Spirit and by others. Guiding our youth in developing good and healthy friendships strengthens the community as a whole. These friendships are united in faith, which assist the Youth in growing deeper ande richer in faith from year to year.
  3. EVANGELIZATION - Retreats & Youth Group Meetings are where the Youth mainly evangelize their peers about the good news of Jesus Christ. Evangelization is the energizing core of Youth Ministry. SFC Youth retreats offer a wide range of experiences of fun, faith, and friendship. Experiencing the Good News proclaimed in the midst of a community of one's peers produces the fruit of discipleship: changed hearts, renewed minds, and refreshed spirits.
  4. JUSTICE AND SERVICE - Visiting Nursing Homes, Foster Homes, and the Homeless are just a few people we serve. Discipleship finds its fulfillment in real life experiences of service to people in need. As Catholic Christians, our mission is to love and serve one another as Christ did.
  5. LEADERSHIP - SFYC: St. Frances Youth Council is a Leadership Youth Council of teens whose goal is to further Christian growth and involvement in developing programs for Youth. The main focus of SFYC is to assist in interpreting the needs of Youth and assist in assuring active partidipation in Youth Ministry Programs here at Cabrini. Therefore, they recruit teens with their leadership skills, talents, and love and fellowship for others.
  6. PRAYER AND WORSHIP - Prayer Services, Adoration, Praying to END Abortion, and "Praise and Worship". Songs are just a few ways our Youth develop their spirtuality through prayer and worship. Christ showed us through HIS own example of praying often to the Father, that is is necessary and fulfilling to the sould to reach out to our Creator. The Youth soon find St. Augustine's words to be true... "My soul is restless until I rest in thee, O Lord." Their faith grows through prayer.
  7. CATECHESIS - CCF Classes for 7th - 12th are Thursday nights 6:30 - 7:45 pm. Each grade level is offered a series of mini courses for a systematic study of major themes of our faith. For instance, we study Sacred Scripture, Church Teachings, the Sacraments, the Saints, and Modern Issues that affect our Youth.
